I have suddenly noticed your eyes have got a shade darker.

You have a small jellycat rabbit whose new name is Peter Fearty. No idea where that came from!

You are very, very stubborn at times.

You wait until we have all eaten our dinner before insisting on sitting on Daddy's lap while he feeds you yours.

Things you say "My legs are tired" (30 seconds after getting out of the car) "I can't get to sleep" (just after waking in the middle of the night).

You have been known to flounce off and slam your bedroom door at times.

You love watching Wreck It Ralph. But you don't like Cybugs.

You are always hungry but never really want to eat dinner.

You love to hide, and always want me to build you a den.

Your favourite shape is a semi circle.

I am going to try and update this site more regularly. This posts are ones that I write for my blog so I ma going to copy them here to share with our family. Kelly x 

This month you got a Strawberry Certificate for getting 25 Golden Points and a Green Slip (very exciting) for improvement in reading.

You are football mad. You play before school, every moment you can at school. You won't go to the after school club though. You love being 'Goaler'.

Your topic at school this term is 999 Emergency and you are utterly enthralled by it. You keep telling me how to call 999. And about fires and firefighters.

You will only let me or Daddy take you and pick you up from school. This can be slightly inconvenient.

You eat and eat and eat and eat.

Your two baby teeth that fell out have been replaced by grown up teeth. I miss the gaps.

You love Lego and are starting to get the confidence to build it yourself without help.

You still take your Bubba to bed every night and you want her when you are upset.

We have only just realised Bubba is a girl.

You love taking photos and keep asking for a camera of your own.

Yesterday's post had a video in it of us as elves dancing but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Sorry! Such a shame it was very funny.

Here are a couple of ppictures of the kids instead. Piran after losing his first tooth a few weeks ago and Kate all dressed up ready for her Christmas party.

Happy 2014

Christmas came and went in true interesting style with no power and a brand new three legged sofa. We survived with smiles on our faces and are starting 2014 with big changes, Paul is back on the road again working on projects so will be out of the country quite a bit this year. Piran is loving school and has made lots of new friends and Kate is enjoying being a big fish in a small pond at nursery!

Last year I took a picture of each of them every week which you can see all of on my personal blog - 52 Project.

This year I plan on taking a picture of the two of them together once a month so I can record how they change as well as capture their relationship at this age. I will share those pictures with you as I take them. For now here are some I took in December. Thank you Nanny Lin and Grandad John for the Spider-Man costume.

Nursery picture

I got the disc with Kate's nursery picture on this morning. We decided to get a disc instead of prints so if you would like a copy just let me know what size and I will get some printed for you.

She has also had a hair cut this week - I will try and get a picture if I can get her to stop moving!

Strawberry Certificate

Piran was given a certificate by the headmaster in assembly last week. He was so proud of himself!

First Day of School

Wednesday was Piran's first day of school. He had a great time and has been happy to return the rest of the week. He is very close lipped about what he does when he is there, telling us that it is a secret!

Four!

A whole month ago Piran turned 4. He had a brilliant birthday followed by a wonderful holiday in Cornwall, so it has taken me a while to get this made, but here it is at last. Piran's fourth year.

Big School

Piran had his first visit to Big School yesterday.

His verdict: Please could he go back today.

He seems so excited about the whole thing and starts officially on the 4th September. I was so proud of him yesterday, he went into the school, where he had never even been before, by himself without a look back and had a brilliant time. He didn't want to leave at all. 

Family Portrait 2013

Every year on Father's Day we try and take a picture with all 4 of us in it. This was our third year and I love the picture. Happily it stopped raining in the afternoon and we could do it in the garden.
